Peggy Taylor moved to Cudjoe Key, Florida from Maryland in 1993. She had worked with Psychiatric patients doing arts and crafts for many years in Maryland and in Key West, once here, teaching simple beading. In 1994, Peggy sold some of her beadwork at a show, the beginning of a jewelry making career. She no longer works in a hospital setting; working out of a home studio, instead; concentrating on making crystal and gemstone earrings, bracelets and necklaces. She collaborates with her partner, Tom Wisniewski (Stones Wrapped by the Sea) designing and beading many creations. Peggy does many shows throughout the Keys and up the East Coast. She sells and displays at "Out of the Blue" gift shop and "Artists in Paradise Gallery" in Big Pine Key.

Jewelry

Tom Wisniewski moved to the Florida Keys in 1996 after retiring from forty years as a commercial plumber in Missouri. His intent was to fish, fish, fish! After meeting Peggy Taylor, a jewelry artist, and reading one of her jewelry books, he taught himself to wire wrap gemstones and his jewelry career began. He wraps gemstones and crystals, many purchased on buying trips throughout the country. Tom participates in many shows throughout the Keys and sells at "Out of the Blue" gift shop in Big Pine Key and "Artists in Paradise Gallery." Tom resides in Cudjoe Key.
